What' going on here?

This blog is intended to be a place where I can share my experiences and encourage a forum of peers who want to talk about publicly traded stocks. I'm a complete novice and I don't believe there are any stupid questions. I hope to learn more about the stock market, share with others, and encourage all Americans to become more financially literate. I think peer-to-peer networking and the internet helps democratize Wall Street. The big bankers will most likely always have some advantages over us regular folks, but I would like to learn to manage my own investments and share what I learn with others.
